The problem

Digestive consequences of enzymes deficiency:

  1. Lipid malabsortion (Steatorrhea)
  2. Malabsortion of fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K)
  3. Diarrhea
  4. Weight loss
  5. Depletion of micronutrients
  6. Abdominal discomfort
  7. Abdominal swelling
  8. Dyspepsia

Digestive Enzymes

Digestive Enzymes are responsible for the chemical reactions necessary to break down food.

The stomach digests food (e.g. proteins) and pushes the digested food (chyme) into the intestine.

The intestine digests mainly fats (lipase) and absorbs the nutrients.

The more digested the chyme is, the smoother the intestinal functions flow.

AORA Enzymax DualRelease

Digestive enzymatic complex, the optimal solution due to a number of breakthroughs:

DualRelease is different

Digestion from the stomach

Why Enzymax DualRelease works differently?:

A highly important and unique feature of Enzymax DualRelease is that it advances fats digestion to the stomach.

With Enzymax DualRelease the digestion of carbohydrates, proteins and fats begins in the stomach, helping the intestine to focus on nutrient absorption and microbiota rebalancing.

In vitro scientific evidence

Testing the reduction of particles in gastric digestion with Enzymax:
  • Gastric digestion with Enzymax was shown to be more effective in reducing the size of the particles in the stomach.
  • Enzymax diminishes the size of particles ≥ 2mm by two-fold compared to placebo after oral and gastric digestion.

Testing the hydrolitic effect of Enzymax against pancreatin 10,000:

  • Faster digestion: 3 to 5 times faster, depending on the food type.
  • More effective: At digesting both lipids and carbohydrates (after comparing the digestion of the three main food type: carbohydrate, fats and proteins with pancreatin 10,000)
  • More consistent: Enzymax presents less deviation in enzymatic activity than pancreatin 10,000.

In vivo clinical studies

Enzymax constitutes an alternative of pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy (PERT) for Cystic Fibrosis patients.

A study has been carried out in collaboration with the Cuban Ministry of Health and the Association of Cuban Cystic Fibrosis in patients under long term with pancreatin 25,000 treatment.

In the comparison of Enzymax with pancreatin 25,000, there was a statistically significant reduction in the number of pills intake by 3-fold and > 80% reduction of gastrointestinal symptoms as:

Enzymax is effective in the treatment of moderate to severe dyspepsia symptoms.

A study was conducted on Enzymax in 105 patients with moderate-severe dyspepsia. The study focused on symptomatology reduction and administration optimization. The Dyspepsia Index was used to evaluate symptomatology.

The results with the administration of 1 capsule 20 days, or 2 capsules in 10 days, showed that:

Ongoing study

DICODI (Digestive Complications in Diabetes) epidemiology study ongoing in collaboration with Aalborg University (Denmark), Uppsala University and Karolinska Institutet

Diabetic patients with digestive complications will participate in the large-scale observational treatment study using Enzymax to study any changes in symptoms before and after taking Enzymax.
